If your phone system works and only the bill is annoying, replacing the whole thing is the wrong answer. SIP trunking changes what carries your calls and leaves everything else alone.
When this is the right call
You have a PBX that does what you need. Staff know it. It is paid for. What you are actually unhappy about is a per-line rental from a carrier that has not changed its pricing this decade. Swapping trunks typically takes a meaningful amount off the monthly bill and disrupts nobody, because the phones on desks do not change at all.
What is included
Inbound and outbound calling, toll-free numbers, international termination, and channel counts that move with the business rather than sitting in a five-year contract. Number porting is included. We will tell you honestly whether your existing PBX is worth keeping — sometimes the answer is no, and we would rather say so before you pay us than after.
Compatibility
We connect to standards-compliant SIP systems. Tell us the make, model and firmware and we will confirm before you commit. Where a session border controller is needed we will say so up front rather than discovering it during cutover.
Common questions
How many channels do we need?
Fewer than most people buy. We look at your actual concurrent call peaks from your current bills rather than guessing from headcount.
Will call quality change?
It depends far more on your internet connection and local network than on the trunk. We check both before quoting, and we will tell you if the honest answer is to fix your network first.
Can we move to a full phone system later?
Yes, and plenty do. Starting with trunks is a lower-risk way to find out whether you like working with us.
