Two approaches, and the right one depends on who needs to edit the site after launch.
WordPress
The right choice when your own staff need to change pages, publish posts and update content without calling anyone. We build custom themes rather than dressing up a purchased one, which means the site does what you need instead of the site you happened to buy.
We also do custom plugin work, and performance recovery on sites that have quietly become slow under the weight of twenty plugins nobody remembers installing.
Next.js
The right choice when speed and search performance matter more than in-house editing — server-side rendering, genuine SEO control, and progressive web app behaviour where the site needs to feel like an application.
Which one
Most businesses that ask for the modern option actually want WordPress, because the real requirement is that somebody in the office can fix a typo on a Friday afternoon. Most businesses that ask for a cheap WordPress site actually need the performance work. We will ask what happens after launch before recommending either.
Performance and SEO
Core Web Vitals, image handling, caching, structured data, and the technical groundwork that lets content rank. We do not sell monthly SEO retainers, and we are sceptical of anyone who guarantees rankings.
Common questions
Can you fix our existing site instead of rebuilding it?
Often, and it is usually cheaper. We will look first and tell you which is the better spend.
Do you host?
We will deploy to your hosting or advise on it. We are not trying to lock you into a hosting bill.
Who owns the site?
You do, including the code and the accounts. You can take it elsewhere whenever you want.
